THE RAILWAY INN, CHLORAKA - COFFEE MORNING
Monday 2nd March 10 am - 12 noon

Owner of The Railway Inn, Anna has kindly offered to host a coffee morning to raise much needed funds for the Cancer Patients Support Group. The entrance fee of €3.00 includes coffee or tea, cakes and biscuits and there will be a small raffle. Maxine O’Daly from the Cancer Patients Support Group will be present to talk to visitors about the work of the charity. Gentlemen are also invited and drinks will be available from the bar at normal pub prices. Please telephone Maxine on 26 272 701 for further information.

Just to say 'thank you' to all the people who came along. Anna had to provide larger tables for the cakes and raffle prizes and the sum of €510 was raised for the Cancer Patient Support Group.

Fantastic! Sorry I couldn't make it there but I did drop a lemon drizzle cake off yesterday.

This was a GREAT event. I was one of the few men who attended and was pleased to see a few other gents as well. Such a lot of money raised, especially as it was a coffee morning. The cakes were delicious. Yummy well done to all the ladies for making them and giving them as donations. managed to win a raffles prize as well.
