A vast number of Pafos musicians - more than ever before - are coming together for a concert in memory of much loved musican, Dave Robinson, a talented drummer, pianist and composer who founded NB Music School and Studios Ltd in Tsada. Dave died in June aged 45 following a battle with oral cancer, leaving his beloved wife Janet and three children. Dave’s many friends in the musical world are organising a tribute gig to raise funds for the two charities that were particularly supportive to Dave and Jan in the last months - The Cyprus Association of Cancer Patients and Friends, and the Mouth Cancer Foundation. The event will take place at the Crown Resorts Hotel Amphitheatre in Coral Bay on Thursday 2nd September, with a 7pm kick-off and an incredible line up of performers : Cold Shot, No Off Switch, Sourmash, Alex Doronin, Amy Keen, Groovejet, Wallis Fairley, Set Your Limits, Alex Mancell, Stan the Man, Stevie Dean, Ishq, Katarina, Sofia Sivatinedes and Zacsuss. There is no official admission charge but it’s hoped that spectators will donate around ten euros each.
