The tulips are usually a magnificent sight and something you won't find anywhere else in Cyprus. The organisers are always reluctant to put exact time tables but you might expect.
Some sort of wine or food tasting on arrival,
Dancing by the village children & pretty young ladies,
Short talk on the Tulips by the local doctor in Greek and English,
A walk round the village outskirts to view the natural Tulip fields,
An opportunity to view and photograph this spectacle of natural colour.

There will be refreshments at the cultural centre & the two other Tavernas (Olive Tree and Vanezis) will have special tulip festival menus and may have other entertainment as well.

The festival is free and the organisers and village council would be very pleased to see PP members and their friends. There is plenty of parking and the roads in Polemi are not unbelievably tight like some villages, any walking is on the flat.

Due to a funeral of a young lady villager this Sunday morning, the village has decided to postpone the festival for one week. It will now be on Sunday 10 April at 2PM
