"The Friends’ Hospice has just launched its calendar for 2013. Calendars, which include 12 detachable postcards and cost €5 each, are available from the Hospice shops in Chlorakas, Pissouri and Polis (and from the new shop in Kato Paphos from early October). The following organisations have also kindly agreed to sell the calendar on behalf of the Hospice: Abbeygate Insurance Computer SOS International School Parker Barnes Estate Agents (Polis) Status Insurance The Outlet Store (both branches) Tommy Tuckers UKCA Club In addition, calendars will be on sale this coming Saturday, 22nd September, at Kolios Butchers from 9 am until 1 pm. The Friends’ Hospice opened five years ago and currently has a seven-bed independent wing in the Evangelismos Hospital. The Hospice needs €500,000 per year to keep it running. Specialised palliative care is available to all, irrespective of nationality, religion or ability to pay. Thank you for your support." |
