Dear all, We are organising a monthly farmer's market at the Herb Garden in Pano Akourdaliea. The first one and grand opening will be on Sunday 2 jun at 9h30am. We are still looking for a few growers-exhibitors to attend. We're looking at local harvests and home made products: vegetebales, fruits, cheeses, milk, eggs, olives and oil, carob syrup, preserves... The key word is sustainable: local (Cyprus) as well as organic. Exhibitors do not have to be Lacon certified, but products need to be grown naturally and made with only natural ingredients. This is a market for quality produce only, sold at reasonable prices. Fair for consumers and producers alike. If interested to exhibit, get in touch with Clement on 96425879 or clement.rhein (at) mac (dot) com Thank you, Clem |

Its severley north of Upper Peyia. Just at Kathikas (on road from Peyia to Polis) turn through village. Head back down hill through center towards Pafos. At crossroads (offset) there is a sign to P A, about another 4km inland. Beautiful place, great herb garden. Highly highly recommended. |

When leaving Kathikas head for the sign to the Sterna winery and you are on the right road to PA. Also for any of you plagued by Mossies and bitey things, the herb garden do a wonderful product called "bug off" and believe me it works. Hubby is the gourmet delight of any mossie flying and since using this product is almost bite free. Only gets bitten at night when he had a shower and doesn't put any on. Their cakes and home made lemonade with hibiscus is also worth a try. |
