Martin Luther spoke many a true word and non so true when he said, "As long as we live, there is never enough singing." Combine that with good food and throw in a little style and what do you get?
The Paphos Zingers Afternoon at the Ritz. This is no ordinary performance, it combines great songs with a quality high tea and a full fashion show. "When?" I hear you cry. Saturday October 5th starting at 5pm at the prestigious Minthis Hills Golf Club. All the proceeds go to the Zingers charity, Cancer Patient Support Group and they hope to raise plenty that day to add to the €7,000 plus that they have raised for them this year.
This is not just one for the ladies, men's fashions will be modelled and you will get the opportunity to buy on the evening. The fashion show covers the whole genre of clothing for ladies and MEN, from casual wear supplied by Here and Now of Pegeia, formal attire from Occasionally Suited of Tala, Minthis Hills Golf Shop clothing and ladies formal gowns by GAAD's designer bridal wear.
The ever popular Paphos Zingers will be entertaining you throughout the show and afternoon tea will be served from a gourmet menu of:
Ham sandwich with grain mustard mayonnaise
Cheddar cheese sandwich with pickle
Cucumber sandwich with cream cheese and dill
Egg mayonnaise sandwich with chives
Freshly baked scones, muffins, croissants and dry cakes
Tea or Coffee
The bar will be open for other drinks as required. The cost for all this decadence is only €12.50. Where else can you have three and a half hours entertainment for such a price? The spokes person for the Zingers Karen Roe tells us, " We are delighted to be working with the Minthis Hills Management, Our Event's Coordinator, Ruth Walton, has worked very closely with the Minthis team to put this show together and the Zingers are proud to be associated with such a prestigious venue. This does, however, mean that tickets are limited to 100 and we usually sell between 150 to 200 for our events so you need to book early as tickets are selling very quickly."
The Paphos Zingers will be singing all their favourite songs at this event, which is a truly eclectic mix with something for everyone. They will be performing in three separate sessions in between the fashion show. There will be a quality raffle with all the proceeds going to C.P.S.G.
This is their most ambient venue yet, set in the green hills offering stunning views over Tsada.
