Turn into the village after the EKO garage and it's just there on the left. It has a sign outside calling itself Tommy Tuckers.

Anyone know anything about it?

I have it from a very reliable scource that the owner is importing proper Doner Kebeb meat from the UK my english/cypriot mates go mad for this stuff. Also he is well known for importing exellent bacon so it seems he will be going the extra yard to ensure quality goods.
You lot in Paphos are so lucky.

I understand the owner is very big in Paphos.

Actually he is pretty big anywhere.

Those images are best kept secret, but when I inspected the premises last week it is looking really good. I doubt if the owners will be able to stand together behind the counter. Maybe they should have designed it as a rotunda....

With a name like 'Tommy Tuckers' it sounds like it may be ex pat owners. Do we know if they are running it themselves, and who they are?

I understand it is someone (not English) who is big in the local catering world, and has a number of other outlets. I further understand there may be Russian involvement to one extent or another.

I may pop in myself to sample their wares as I understand the cook is pretty good.

After spending a week of snagging and tweeking , things seem to be in place now ,
we have had no end of people visiting us just to have a real doner kebab ,
proper 100% minced lamb kebabs , imported meat from the UK.
as of tomorrow we will have our curries on the menu ,
(Tikka masala , madras and mild cuury)
just like we had at the market.
You can either sit in , or take away plus our cod and chips with mushy peas has been very popular ..
:congrats

Any one whom has seen Neil recently can tell you he looks like he has done a lot of research into finding the right products.
I was on an all inclusive break with him for a few days at Xmas and he still managed a couple of extra kebabs.(for market research).
Tommy Tucker is a fat F@@@@r .

My other half went yesterday lunch time and had a battered sausage in a bap and really enjoyed it, so he dragged me along last night (he likes his food) and we both had the fish and chips, very good portion size, nice light fluffy but crispy batter. Good fish, chunky chips cooked just right. All at a good price. We will definatly be going back again and again to try all the other lovely sounding things on the menu.
We were told that they are hoping to do bbq's in the warmer weather so looking forward to that :D

Yes have to agree that our takeaways of burger and chips were very nice - the bread rolls were very fresh, beefburgers good and the chips, although frozen, were very nice.

We will return!

And why would you say that Alan? I went to Tommy Tuckers a couple of weeks ago - had chicken tikka masala in a garlic naan bread, and it was delicious - something different to what you can get in most takeaways. I think ALL businesses, new and old should be encouraged in this difficult economic climate. :greetings

Barry`s Julie, is over in your neck of the woods next week , I can get her to bring one to you ??
:greetings
We now have a new version of it, which I have tried on a few people , who say its better than our original
version.
We are using, hotplate grilled , onions and mixed sweet peppers , instead of the salads , Wrapped in the warm lebonese bread, Its a bit like a very large juicy , chicken or lamb Fajita .
they are really scrummy ..
