Went for Sunday Lunch, enjoyed the food, very good value. The same can be said for the mid week food they offer.

However the whole is spoilt at this pub, by the price they are charging for a bottle of wine.

The wine on offer they purchase for no more than €4 a bottle, then we have a massive mark up to the customer of 3 times their purchase price.

When will any local eating establishment be satisfied with an 100% mark up? And this establishment is basically a pub.

Didn't like the place at all - chef refuses to do anything but boiled or mashed potatoes (except on sundays when he will roast them)................and he won't mash them if they are new potatoes!!

Limited choice of food, cold, draughty and when it rains the water comes in the roof around the tree that grows up through it.

Went last week and their food I had was terrible.

Steak pie with what they called pastry but it was so inediible I do not know how to discribe it.

Bread and butter pudding, usually one of my favourites , but what was served up was utter stodge, best way I could discribe it was that the bread had been soaked in water and put into a press, what a mess.

This place is now off my going out for a meal list.
