We have now visited this Indian restaurant twice and on both occassions the food has been fantastic. Its about a 25 minute drive out of Paphos at Paramali which is a very small village between Pissouri and Episkopi, if you take the scenic route along the B6 you can't miss it because as soon as you come into the village you see signs for the Balti House Tandoori. The choice of menu is huge with all the normal dishes i.e. Madras, Korma, Jalfrezi plus lots of others, The chef is from Delhi and if you want something not on the menu he will gladly produce it fresh for you. Poppodoms and pickles were supplied `on the house` along with coffee or Massala Tea which was delicious. Definately recommend to give this restaurant a try if you are an Indian food lover! |

The prices were average for Cyprus, but the food was excellent quality and quantity for the money. |

Sorry to be picky, but is that average of Indian meal or any meal? As most of the Indian meals in Paphos for food alone come out well over €30 per head, which is expensive. Most tavernas are between €10 and €15 food per head. We go to Nemos for our curry €16 for poppadoms, start, main meal, rice and naan beard. You are stuff and it's lovely. As do a lot people on here. So unless it's somewhere near that price, (less that €20 a head for food) I probably won't try it. Assuming it's in the same price range it would be temping to try it, particularly if it had a large range, as Nemos only do 5x chicken and 1x prawn curries, no lamb. |
