75g butter
5 tbsp sugar (brown preferably) or 1 tbsp sugar and 4 tbsp candarel
2 tbsp golden syrup
150g oats
2 eating apples (more if v. small ones), peeled, cored and chopped
In a microwave bowl, melt butter, syrup and sugar.
Add oats and stir well.
Add chopped apples and stir well.
Tip mix into microwave pie dish/pyrex lid or similar.
Press down well with back of spoon.
Mark into slices.
Place dish in microwave and cook on high for approx 4 mins or until centre is bubbling.
Leave to cool, then refrigerate. Once fully chilled, separate into slices.
