I would like to say otherwise but curry houses in Cyprus are passable at best terrible at worst , one of the things I miss about the UK is a good curry house.I am sure tommy tuckers currys are very nice but I like the whole Indian experience, poppadoms, dips,Indian chef ect.Still it's a good excuse to return to the U K from time to time.

I may be a little late replying to this but new to forum.

I live in Rochdale, UK. It is renowned for its Curry houses.
I went to Poppadoms near St Georges when I was over last month.

It is very good. (Despite a power cut )

I see that there is a new Indian in the premises that a taste of India used to be in, close to the Aliathon holiday village, more or less above Poco Loco.

Has anyone tried it?

best curry restaurant for us and it is always packed
which speaks volumes

is Koh i Noor on the TKR across from Capital Hotel

we think it is worth driving past all the rest on our way from Peyia, to get to the best :)
never had a bad meal there and it really is Indian Curry at its best
with amazing staff as well as amazing food

I never liked the Koh I Noor when they were near to Alexander the Great, so have not been to the 'new' location. It's on the wrong side of Paphos for me. The one I mentioned in my previous post would be my closest.

Try the Jayanter in Kato Paphos, you'll never go anywhere else again!
Just be careful of the drink prices & ask before ordering, as they are not on any menu - only downside really! :cheers
nb.Travellers from the fiefdom of Pegeia don't need a passport, or an international driving license to leave their environs!
