Had lunch there today --OK but didn't look as appetizing in the display cabinet -and he ran out of bread for sandwiches-but still very nice. Marj

I was also at the Blue Olive today, and agree that the new owner has not changed too much, but has some good ideas about extending opening hours and introducing sunday lunches.

The food is still very good and excellent value for money.

Well actually got round to visiting the Blue Olive for lunch today since the new owner took over. I have to say that it was all very nice and similar to how it was before. I didn't realise that the other prospective buyers had dropped out!! Also heard another bit of gossip but not sure I am allowed to put it on here. He seems a very nice chap and is starting Sunday lunches after Christmas. Still not got his coffee machine but hopes to have it very soon. Will defnitely be paying regular visits.
