Now under new management, the Seahorse has to be one of the best Sunday lunches around. For 6.95 CYP (not sure about Euros), you get a 3 course lunch with choice of all courses. The chef Mike is excellent, and his home made jam roly poly and bread and butter pudding are to die for! The new owners are Julie and Tony Croxford - he used to be a professional darts player in the UK (I think his nickname was Bandana) and they also have a sports bar adjoining going under the name of Bandanas. I also went there on New Years Eve and had an excellent time.

It's behind the big church on the dual carriageway in Kato Paphos - open every day except Monday for lunch and evening meals.

Of COURSE there's custard - you can't have that namby pamby cream with it!! Last week it was apple crumble and custard - yummy. Mike does a different hot sweet every week, and his sticky toffee puding and custard (of course) is wonderful.

Probably see you in there

Have they managed to get their act together Jean? When it first changed hands we went along for the thursday quiz night and were very disappointed by the food, but mainly by the fact that they just didn't clear plates and didn't come round asking if we wanted more drinks................the son (who was about 11) took more interest in doing the right thing than the owners, who seemed only interested in sitting in the bar next door and playing darts.

Would love to hear that the food is better, the service is better, and the quiz is worth going to again!!

Hi Chris

Really don't know - haven't been down for a while. They lost their chef (he went back to the UK), and they seemed to turn it more into a sports bar - shame really! If I hear anything I'll let you know.
