Well it looks like a two horse race now.Sorry Chas if you are reading but it does. I'm glad really cos I didn't want Arsenal coming to our place on the last day of the season needing anything. That said Wenger will probs play all the young uns and they'll beat us anyway.
I think Man Utd deserve to win it and hope they do. I know they've still got to go to Chelski but I think they'll be ok.
Am I right in thinking there are no Man Utd fans on here? Must be a first that !
I thought Hargreaves free kick today and his cross the other night were sublime. He's a great player really underestimated.

You are right it does seem like a NE Sports Bar and we don't want that.
It's either cos we are truly more passionate about it than others or cos others read the posts and think I won't bother cos it's all NE.
I will continue to post as normal but would welcome fans of other clubs coming on with open arms.
I know we've had the odd post about Arsenal, Brum, Spurs, West Ham but we need these posters to get in there and rise to the challenge and anyone else who fancies it.

well DP i've just got in after watching the game, & to be honest, for the 1st hour i think we were on top, but i didn't expect to win, a couple of weeks ago the title was ours to lose, & lose it we did. i cant see anybody catching utd.
it's not so much utd. i hate, it's more ALEX FERGUSON. everything has to go his way. where on earth the ref found 4 mins of extra time from, i dont know. imagine if they were losing 2-1 i'd have been out all night. (wishful thinking)

At least you know the rest of the country admire your football. I can't imagine what it is like to challenge Ferguson for a title albeit some Mags, no let me change that, one Mag thinks his club actually do !
On a serious note, the papers are saying Arsenal are not going to spend big in the close season, why's that then ?
Do you think Wenger is the man ?
Young players are all well and good but I think it's about time Arsenal chose the real deal or Spurs may become the pride of North London.
Hopefully see you next year !
Gary :?

02/03.... 3rd
03/04.... 5th

Well it's coming right down to the wire and the toon are set to have a big say, taking our unbeaten run out against Chelsea this weekend - I'm sure KK would "love it" if old Red Nose's boys threw away the big lead they had at one stage, so would like to suggest the toon line up like this on Monday night:

Honey Monster

Carr - Jimmy Nail - Tony Blair - Hughton

Terry Mac - Gazza - Mike Ashley - My Mam

Ant - Dec

:D

Not quite!

Just harking back to Fergie's whining about other teams playing weakened line-ups and not trying properly against us back in our "almost season" - be great to turn the tables on him!!

Not that I'm any great Chelsea fan mind - ideally I would like neither to win, bit like choosing between being stabbed or shot! :(

Well after what happened at Stamford Bridge I think both teams should be docked 10 points & then niether of them would win the Prem :smilielol

Think Man Utd and Chelsea will both win this weekend (fancied us to do Chelsea if they were out of it, but with them needing to win I'm especting a narrow defeat)

If it does go to the last weekend, I wouldnt be too surprised to see the Mancs drop points on that ropey pitch at Wigan....

Mancs up 4-1 against Spams, looks like you've lost Willis

So the TOON just have to do what they've done for the last 5 season & stop Chelski from winning on Monday :celebrate and the title is decided, as chelski would need to win there last game by 21 goals as it stands to take the title from the Mancs :smilielol

Not that I want the Mancs to win, its just I don't want the TOON to lose :smilielol

Chas, Are you getting ready for a spanking on Sunday ?
Gary 8)
I'm looking forward to it. It's a sell out and the weather is warm. Me and my mates are making a day of it, as you do, don't know what exactly is planned but it'll be a party day in Sunderland no matter what the score is.
Gary :celebrate
