we ahve signed a dutch u21 and a french u21 international
think next year our average age of first team squad is something like 22 (that is taking boateng into account as well) oldest player left will be luke young 29 next week

think we are buying players to sell on if they make it tbh

More like we weren't willing to pay a money grabbing hasbeen stupid wages anymore so he didn't want to come to us :roll: :roll: he's a mercenary, same as Tel Ben Hiam, only went to Chelski last season because they offered hime more wages & now he's moved to Citey for the same reason :roll: :roll:

In that case we've been snubbed by thousands of players, whoop-de-do :x and guess what, so have you & everyother team in the world :roll:

No, what I meant was you tried to get him earlier in the year and he wouldn't come. You spoke to him again the same weekend we did but you wouldn't/couldn't match our terms.

Yeah we spoke to him & he wanted stupid money but for someone who doesn't really care about the football & who he plays for as long as they pay him enough, we decided against matching his wages, as we don't want mercenaries anymore, we had enough of those kind of players under FFS :roll:

All I see is the Mackems doing what the TOON use to do, nice to know we set an example for your team to follow :lol:

The Spurs players are hardly mercenaries are they ? I thought Chimbonda was once myself but obviously now he's signed for us he isn't. Seriously, the Spurs players were being played out of position after Jol left. The writing was on the wall for them all. Ramos didn't want them, that doesn't mean they are no good or just after the money, surely if they were just after the money they would have kept the bench warm at Spurs.
Diouff preferred us to Pompey, now there's a first. All of them have said they joined us cos Keane sold the club and what he wants at the club.
They may get decent wages but we are only paying the going rate, nothing more. There's plent of players at Newcastle and Boro getting more money than these guys.
I have to laugh at you Pete, describing them as money grabbers :lol: has beens :lol: mercenaries :lol:
Can't help but think if they'd signed for your lot they would be world beaters ! :wink:
