Post subject:  Makes me Mad!
Why is it, every top notch player is being linked with the Spurts, its not as if they're going to do anything again this season except maybe sit behind the top 4 again, so why :? :?

I've just seen a post where David Villa team, Valencia is supposed to have agreed a price with the Spurts for his transfer, why would he want to go there & why aren't any of the top 10 teams in Europe bidding for him :? :?

So far from memory, they've been linked to:

Eto,
Villa,
Gomas,
Podalski,
Arshavin,
Engelaar,

Also a few not so good players but surely they don't have a hope in hells chance, a bit like the rest of us in signing any of them, seems they have very deep pockets tho these days, I wonder how much debt they're in :roll: :shock: :D

i dont know pete i mean its not as if they have won anything recently (sorry forgot about the league cup)

its not like they are in europe (oh bugger they are in the uefa cup aren't they)

they have no talent there (damn, i forgot woodgate/king/huddlestone/berbatov/keane/modric/dos santos etc)

they play in some backwater (bugger there i go again they play in london which is england to most foreign players)


they have a poor manager ( :doh forgot it was juande ramos)

as much as i hate to say it i can see spurs having a sniff of 4th this season

Sorry snurf, didn't realise you're a closet Spurts fan :roll: :smilielol

Also, they finished 11th under Ramos, got into Europe because Chelski had more important things like the Prem & CL on their plates to worry about to even care about the League Cup :roll: :roll:

Class players, not counting who they brought this summer, woodgate/king/huddlestone give yourself a slap, if they were that good, why did they finish 11th, ok Berb is a good player, Keane is ok but it still didn't get them into the top half of the table did they :shock: :?

So what if they play in London, so do Westham & Fulham, don't see them signing 'Class players' like Modric & Santos, who I still say may be crap in the Prem, we don't know yet :shock:

I doubt very much the Spurts will get anywhere near 4th, not with the likes of Everton, Man City, Portmouth, Villa also buying class players :shock: :o

Glad you thought it was funny & I'm defo up for the bet, double or quits it is, I can't lose :lol: :lol:

I still stand with my verdict, what talented players, didn't get them into the top half :shock: :lol:
