Been listening to the first day's play - got off to a decent solid start, but the middle order is wobbling again - England 137/3 as I type.

Might have to take myself off to the pub tomorrow to lend some moral support....

Aye, fair enough - it's not a game that appeals to those with a short attention-span! :P

Martin - i`ll keep you company whilst you lend you moral support .. as long as nudge me from my stupor when something interesting happens in the cricket, i don't mean when the ball is hit, or the ball is thrown ... something like when it finishes :D

Was looking very good for the first 3 days, but looks like petering out into a draw now - shame.

Second test starts today, at sunny Headingley (watched many a day of cricket there when I lived in Leeds) - rain forecast over the next couple of days which could lead to another draw, but there's likely to be plenty of cloud cover, so wickets could tumble if they get enough play in.

Oh, and Freddie's back! :D
