ok, i thought to run alongside the fantasy football competition that a weekly predictions league could run as well

so to go with it i have set up a league through the premierleague website

http://iknowthescore.premierleague.com/

register above and then enter your scores weekly or full season at a time if you wish

the code to join the mini league is FCF90-HAF

have fun

It's only the first week, so give it time & I'll remind you both later in the season if/when I'm winning :manic

Poxy bloody Arsenil... couldn't even beat Fulham & cost me 30 points this week

I'll need to start concentrating on this game now

Well at least it was only a -10 this week & not -25 like someone else :smilielol

think this was my worst ever week, (including last year) -35 now can anyone beat that

Post subject:  Re: Predictions competition

Seems I broke even this week

I think its going to be quite hard predicting the scores for a few weeks until most teams have settled into some sort of routine, especially the way the top 4 are playing anyway :smilielol

Pete, I'm going to suggest you never take up gambling - another week like the one you just had and your score is going to go into negative numbers!

Nah, i got a couple of others too - predicted the Pompey win for starters!

Gone for a 2-2 draw in the Wear-Tees derby today - fancy some goals.

Expect Newcastle to lose at West Ham, possibly badly, although the injury to Ashton is a bonus.

Making this my banker gave me another good week - called the 1-1 Chelsea - Man Utd too.

Still not too late to join in if anyone else wants to sign up - will only take a week to overtake Pete for starters!

Did everyone see how well I did this week??

I ended up in the top 500 out of 140-odd thousand overall for the month of September - really need to start backing some of these predictions with cold hard cash!

Got my banker spot on again this week with the Man utd result, but some of the others were a bit dodgy to say the least!

I keep tipping Spurs to win - when will I learn??

Post subject:  Re: Predictions competition

first time i have got the banker spot on, shame the rest were fairly poor

well done pete, you are only very poor now rather than hopeless

as for you cf :clap your up into the top 300 which is a hell of an effort, (i have broke into the top 10000 and will close up further)

Thats fine, I can cope with poor

Not as if I could get any worse is it, so like the TOON, I can only get better :celebrate

Post subject:  Re: Predictions competition

Well guys, I got a mega boost today scoring 180 points + 10 bonus banker points too

3 correct scores, the rest + scores, the only one letting me down was Villa not beating Pompy

So that puts me just 75 points behind you Smurf with the Toon v Citey game to play :D :D

Must be getting a hang of this now

Gary,

Why don't you just join the 'Predictions' competition instead of issuing ultimatums which we may just take you up on :?

To be honest, I had you down for a 1-1 draw this weekend but you couldn't even manage that

I predicted your lot would win this week - they should have done as well, Fulham are shocking. Mind you, I also went for a Spurs win and tipped the smoggies for a draw, so not one of my better weeks!
