And what a match it was.... we should have won that & I love the Sky Sports text last night, it went something like this: 'Man Utd rescued a point after clawing back a goal against Newcastle' They only scored while we were down to 10 men with Tayls being off the pitch, we should have won it.... |

Newcastle did indeed play well. I think the result was fair. Newcastle didn't do enough to get all 3 points. Lets not forget the header off the line and awesome double save from Given. Had that not happened, you would have been down early on, nerves would have set it and you would have got whipped. The new guy with the perm at the back looks suspect but the red indian causing havoc down the left looked like a very good acquisition. A good start for the Toon. Yet with Keegan at the helm it will be another season of peaks and troughs. Enjoy. |

I think you'll find we were even on goal attempts by the end of the match Simon... as for nerves, I remember a few attempts by SAF men to dive in the Toon penalty area & throw their arms up in disgust at not getting a penalty That's usually the sign that they can't compete when they start trying to cheat there way to a win.. |

First half was a good half. Second half was scrappy and a bit dull. Just my opinion. At least you didnt get ripped apart by Boro. Shocking. |

Yeah I agree but that was because the Mancs wanted to dive all the time.. everytime a player came close to them, they'd fall over... And whats with the 3 KK look alikes that Fergie brought on in the 2nd half.. whats that about.. That must have been some sort of wind-up by Fergie, trying to put KK off his game.. |
