I'll say one thing, its a good job your reserves are winning, as yer first team don't know how too

Maybe Keano should swap them around & then you can climb out of the bottom 3 sometime soon

As for the sides, I wonder if you can tell me if you recognise any of the following pleayers:

NUFC: Forster, Carr, Lough, Edgar, Morris, Francis, Baheng (Marwood 67), Doninger (Danquah 90), Carroll, LuaLua, Godsmark (Donaldson 84). Subs: Danquah, Marwood, Patterson, McLaughlin, Donaldson.
Subs n/u: Patterson, McLaughlin.

SAFC: Carson, Weir (Chandler 46), Harte, Halford, Anderson, Hartley (Donoghue 75), Richardson (Dowson 46), Miller, Stokes, Connolly, Wallace.
Sub n/u: Henderson

I see 1 maybe 2 names from the NUFC team & none from yers

So not really a victory I'd be bragging about..

So that's basically a load of our academy kids playing against a team made up mostly from the mackems' first team squad - now I know their squad are largely bobbins but seasoned pros should always beat a team of kids.

They really must be desperate to secure any form of bragging rights! Coming next - how sunderland's matchday pies are a good 20p cheaper than anything available on tyneside....

If they gave us a trophy for the best pies it'd be one more trophy than you lot have had for many many years.
Well you heard it on here first, Fat Sam was sacked cos our ressies did you on your own turf. It may not mean a lot to you but obviously your chairman thinks different ! Ha Ha
Keep The Faith, Haway The Lads, Best Regards ( of course) Gary

Gary,

I'm guessing you get your information from that rag you guys call the 'Sunderland Echo' well don't believe everything you read in the papers mate, especially one I wouldn't use to light my fire with

BS was sacked/left by mutual agreement because he didn't cut the mustard & the new owner gave him 6 months to prove him different, he failed so is now being replaced by someone he wants in charge instead of someone left over from the previous regime  not that I don't think BS could have done something if he'd had the time & money

My scriptwriters may not be very good but I do not read The Echo which churns out nearly as much dross as The Chronicle and The Journal.
It's called friendly banter, that's all.

Gary,

We only allow friendly banter on this forum mate, seriousness is not allowed

As for which ever tabloid you read, they're all the same, full of dross & Alan Oliver s probably the worse one for it

Speaking of the Echo, do they still have that neon bloke on the side of their offices who is either happy or sad depending on how the result has gone?

Used to drive past there to my Grandma's house (she lived in Pennywell, poor dear - I'm assured it was quite nice when they first moved there!) and always used to bring a smile to the face seeing him looking all disconsolate! :D

The bulbs on the sad face must have needed regular changing lately!

I suppose after so many years of beatings by our first team, the mackems will cling on to any crumb of comfort!
