Pete Sorry i haven't been on for a while to wind you up about this Sunday's game, been a bit busy recently. It is probably just as well I haven't mind you as your bunch seem to have hit a bit of form at just the wrong time for me. I know you usually beat us and to be honest I don't see that changing this weekend. Looks like it will be one mars bar each then. I predict 2-1 or 3-1 to your lot. Should be able to post more in the new year as just been told I can retire at the end of January after 35 years service, can't wait. Cheers John |

Hi John, Congrats on the early retirement, hope all is well with you & Maureen & that her health is better As for the match, yeah we're getting there but so are you guys, Arrys done a decent job with that bunch of slackers, shame they couldn't do the smae for Ramos, as you'd be near the top now I don't think it will be as straight forward a win as in years gone by but maybe a 1-0 or score draw this time, just depends if your lot remember they beat us at SJP not so long ago, even if it was just a league cup game It could be all even stevens come monday on the Mars front, fingers crossed... |

Cheers Pete, Maurren is fine, she is out spending my money today and I won't actually get any until February, that's women for you. The problem for us is that we won't have any good central defenders and you lot will give them the total run around, especially now Owen is playing to get away again. Would settle for a draw but fear travel lag as we come back from Russia will be a major factor for us as well. Time will tell. Cheers. |

I understand you're just trying to get your excuses in early, but as last night's match was at home you're not having that one! I see Martins is doubtful for this one - he always does well against your lot (Dawson must still see him in his nightmares!) so if he plays I think we can get a narrow win, if not I'll take a draw. |

CF You are of course 100% correct as usual, I was trying to get my excuses in early. For some reason I was positive last nights game was in Russia, if it had been we may have done better after all. Still we got the result we needed to progress to the next round, now we play one of the 8 Champion's league drop outs. Don't you just love football, here we are all supporting so called big clubs of England and both of us would settle for a boring draw this weekend, shows the total faith we have in our teams. History shows there are always goals in this fixture so we shall just have to wait and see. One thing is for certain your lot do seem a bit more organised than you were a few weeks ago which will give you more of a chance than you would have had 2 or 3 weeks ago. Fingers crossed my good start to this Christmas period continues over the weekend. Cheers. John |

Defensively JFK has us looking pretty solid, but he does tend to attack more at home, but has shown a tendency to then sit deep and try defend a lead, which has seen us ship late equalisers in 3 home games already this season. Martins rated at 50/50 today - really important for us he makes it. |

Very even game - enjoyed watching it and credit to Spurs for coming and having a go. Could have gone either way, very pleased it went ours! |

Well as it stands we're even on the Mars Bar front John but as we're ahead of you in the league, you could still be owing me 1 by end of season Great game but I'm confused as to Arry's comments after the match.. he said they shouldn't have lost, it was there for the taking & there was only one winner... which game was he watching, as imo I think we played alot better than they did, after all we won |

Sorry for taking some time to post, I have been hit by the dreading cold virus flying around the country at the moment and have not actually seen any of the action from yesterday's game. It does appear the magic hold your lot have over us is alive and well once again, so yes Pete it is one all so far this season as far as the Mars Bars are concerned. I am still confident I will be in credit by the end of the season however. Tanny with me only being a youngster I have no idea what you are referring to If I don't manage to get myself pulled round in time to post again before the big day, I hope you all have a great Christmas and all the very best for the New Year. Cheers. John |
