OK heres a poll to get a good idea of what the gentlemen folks want, we can rotate the activity at a later date and try different things, but generally try to stick to the options and add a comment for any other ideas.

Remember when chosing the activity, the levels will be basic to allow for everyones experience and ability, and allow for maximum enjoyment.

A trophy will be awarded for the top performer and a generally accepted best egg award. Donated by http://www.newhomecyprus.com

I've not voted, but only because I'll happily partake in any of the listed activities, on the strict condition that they are immediately followed by a visit to a local hostelry of course! :cheers

Stick your head above the parapet and you're likely to be thrust into the organisational chair.... :D

Personally I think we were maybe too ambitious trying to plan a day out right from the off - a number of meetings and discussions are surely required in advance, and the only sensible location for these is surely a public house?

I concur.

I am always up for drunkeness and trash talk.

However, unlike you lot I have to be in the office (an actual office, not the loo) early doors on a weekday so something for the weekend would be good!

Beer, pool, sport on TV, bag of prok scratchings and some banter is all thats required.

Seems like a clear bit of volunteering to me!

If you arrange it, they will come....

Martin, Martin, Martin. We were discussing this last night. We agreed that we are far too busy what with football training and the big game on Wednesday nights to even consider having the time to arrange a pub session. YOU on the other hand are now fully retired (it would seem) and surely need something to fill the time and void? We wouldn't begrudge you taking total control on this one at all!

I would suggest we arrange a trip to a brewery and plan an appropriate activity once there, but I'm guessing you lot would even struggle with organising that!

Limassol's a long way to go for a few beers mind - plus the prospect of a coach journey back after being on the Keo all afternoon is giving me flashbacks to some of the footy away days I've attended in the past, where the central aisle would end up resembling niagra falls!

How about we start with something nice and easy like a few Friday beers and some pool/darts or whatever somewhere like the George and build up gradually to the more exotic locations??

Yep I think a heavy afternoon on the dizzy water would result in too many near misses on the coach, especially starting that early.

I'm happy with a Friday night somewhere, will go with the majority. Just fancy getting out and having a laugh with a few beers on a night when I don't have to go to the office the next day. Having said that I'm working this Saturday..............this isn't gonna be easy.

Probably a bit late to plan anything for this weekend anyway - 2 weeks time is the PP night out, so either leaves us next Friday (20th) or we're into some time in July?

Rumours abound that Geoff might actually be on the brink of arranging something - it's at a very delicate stage though, so still plenty time for things to unravel.....

I did receive a PM referring the possibility of possibly meeting at some time during the remainder of 2009.
