Do English supporters listen to him as a fountain of knowledge or as a Scotsman who has conquered England for the umpteenth time and likes to rub the southerners noses in it?

He used to wind me up something chronic (especially in this halcyon days when we were fighting them for the title!) but you just have to respect his achievements, building team after team of trophy-winners.

He's one of the reasons I don't mind so much Man Utd winning the league (plus I've become desensitised to it now!)

I certainly respect his achievements, but why does he have to be such an arrogant pompous prat?

He isn't really that bad. He knows the game inside out, and he knows it! I can accept it from Ferguson, who has nurtured team after team with players from the youth ranks, but it gauls me when it comes from the likes of Mourinho who did well at Porto but then basked in the glory of all that money can buy at Chelsea.
