Hi all,

I can't make it as I'm booked up for something else. :(

Sorry about that but it was booked a while ago and didn't realise it was a wednesday.

So, it looks like 2-a-side then!

I think Terry said his son was over for this week, and Gary and his lad should be along too, so should be enough for a game at least....I have every faith in Geoff's organisational capabilties!

Martine, shouldnt that be une rather than just un, Im unsure of the genre stuff in French but un sounds too macho for my liking.

I'll be passing at the usual time and may consider slowing down for a second or 2 if you're are positioned correctly...

It's 8pm sharp. A lot of them get there sooner for a warm up. If the pitch is free (which it usually is) they kick off sooner.

Gotannatog will departing the house soon to get his lift.

Good game again last night chaps! :congrats

Malc wins the award for most impressive injury for his bold attempt to bleed to death via the knees......a similar injury kept Simon out of action for months.....

Quite correct. Infact I was horrified with the level of skin loss that Malcolm sustained. As I can relate to him on this level, I wish him a speedy recovery, although realistically I can't see him action again this side of Xmas, as the wounds looked much deeper than mine.

Plenty of savlon and rest.

Good game, although I think the woodwork slightly tarnished the result.

Disappointing "crotch-shot" ratio for you this week too - think you only managed to nail Fletchy this time (who consequently won't be nailing anything for quite a while...) :D

Amazingly, the wounds look far better today than I expected and I fully expect to make a second appearance next week, provided I can find some suitable knee protection and regain the use of my legs by then. Must have been the Germolene and then wrapping both knees in cling-film overnight so as not to bleed all over the sheets :)

Dean's foot is pretty bad.
We've been down the hospital with it :-( Nothing too bad they think. Just some pain killers which so far don't seem to have done much good.
And he's had the day off work.

With Dean and his foot and me and my arm - walking wounded.
Does any want to come round and do the house work.
Really not sure how we are getting to the Taverna. Also going to toilet there is going to be interesting

I attended the G&D after the footie, it was like a casualty ward.
All these grown men holding back the tears craving attention and some loving care. Matthew didnt even make the match.
What a bunch of girlies.
The total age of the injured players must be well over 250 which has to be some type of record by itself!!

Get well soon.

You took him to hospital because his foot was a bit sore?? I reckon he's just trying it on so he doesn't have to look after you with your broken arm (a real injury!).

Dr CF prescribes a lengthy course of Man-Up pills for Mr Gotannatog! :D
