As much of an avid supporer as I am, I shall not be rushing out to have this chaps name on my shirt... http://www.dundeeunitedfc.co.uk/index.asp?tm=2&nid=3227&cd=2009 The new adult top will be £39.99 but his name will be £25.00, and will go from one elbow down to the other elbow!! What other long/humorous names have you seen on a shirt. I remember a couple of years ago Septic signed a Brazillian called Raphael Shiedt, he was a donkey, so his shirt had only Raphael on the back!! |

Bit slow Gary - that was on here ages ago! Your mob having any luck signing players with your new found riches yet? Had a chuckle at this in the papers earlier in the week: Quote: Bordeaux deny Sunderland bid for Marouane Chamakh Jean-Louis Triaud, the Bordeaux president, has denied that the French champions have received a £13 million offer from Sunderland for Marouane Chamakh. The Morocco forward has one year left on his contract and is wanted by Arsenal, should Emmanuel Adebayor leave. “We never received an offer,” Triaud said. “What the f*** would he do at Sunderland? You have heard him say he will only sign for a big English club. I don’t want to insult Sunderland, but I don’t even know where they finished last season.” |

Here;s a good one. In the Peruvian Andes, the home of prominent club Deportivo W@nk@. The name of the club proudly displayed across the chest of their shirts, these kits have become something of a collector’s item amongst British football fans. In response to this increased interest in their club from our shores, one club spokesman commented, “It is very strange. Everyone in Britain thinks we have a funny name.” |
