Post subject:  Dodgy refs in pre-season games
Lesson to be learned - never go play a Scottish team with a Scottish ref officiating - Newcastle coasting to a comfortable victory against some ropey bunch yesterday only to have a very dodgy penalty awarded against us.

Harper promptly saved, then suddenly an even dodgier one is awarded shortly afterwards - bloke was obviously just going to keep giving them until they equalised! :doh

The problem is we should of been more that 1 goal up and then the penalty wouldn't of matter.

We were trying to be polite - it isn't good manners to thrash inferior opposition on their Home ground in friendly games... :wink:
