Post subject:  Footie Crowd Evening Out - 11th Sept

Meeting around 7.30pm on Friday 11th September at the Keg & Barrel end of the Ayios Antonios in Kato Paphos myself and a few of the chaps that play mini-football on Wednesday will be going for a informal bite to eat then possibly blowing the froth of a couple of pints (beer or juice) at a nearby bar. These are as detailed as the plan gets so if it matters where we will be eating and drinking then it may not be for you !! But all gents affiliated with the Paphos People forum are more than welcome to join us.

This thread has taken a definite turn for the surreal!

Anyway lads, the important thing to remember is, what happens on the footie crowd evening out, stays on the footie crowd evening out.

For a laugh we should get some t-shirts made up and give Tanny 'THE STAG' one and take it from there.

To say I'm looking forward to my first 'lads' night out in a year would be a bit of an understatement. However, I will pace myself.

I'll be hobbling along trying not to spill my pint courtesy of a rather late and dirty tackle from someone who shall remain nameless.................................

He's probably still sitting on that stool in Bubbles, wondering where everyone has gone! :D

Had a good night, we'll have to do it again soon. :cheers

I have a VERY croaky voice. I feel like I have smoked 40 fags. My eyes are red. Can someone explain why I got in at 1am and then put Gladiator on? I never sleep on the sofa. But apparently the better half poked me, punched me, hit me with the remote and I still didn't wake up. The vodka red bulls were a MAJOR mistake and I blame Gary for getting the free drinks in.

I would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge that yes infact I did look like I was having an epileptic fit on the dance floor and that 31 yr olds do look like prats when trying to dance.

Cheers for a good night out :congrats

PS - I am still drunk

I received a text at middle of the night o'clock telling me to get back to bubbles!

Once I got into Fla1rs I walked past the wife and stood at the bar and then proceeded to make a fool of myself in front of all the wifes friends!

Just, just. An another eventful evening for Mr Dutch, and a very very bad day. the Red Bull kept me buzzing until about 7pm tonight which made it impossible to sleep off the hangover. :celeb2

Jeff, I think the discussion goes forward as thus:: Intellingence!!

'Well you see, Norm, it's like this . . . A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.'

C'mon Mc douglas, talking of the slower brain cells is it not intelligence :) ! I think i fell asleep in Nemos whilst waiting for the bill hence 'upgrading' my night out ticket to one that covered beverages including 'Russian distilled grain drink with Austrian coffee plant extract on the side'

Wikipedia on Red Bull wrote:
Commonly reported adverse effects due to caffeine used in the quantities present in Red Bull are insomnia, nervousness, headache, and tachycardia
check, check, check, check
