I have for sale Two General satellite receivers.
Both are from the highly respected and prestigious Technomate company.
Both are current models listed on their website here:http://www.technomate.com/products2.php

The first is this model, a TM5400 CI + USB Super: http://www.technomate.com/viewproduct2.php?product=78
This will receive all the UK free to air channels when coupled with a suitable size dish. (2.7 or 3M)
Alternatively it will also receive the Nilesat free to air channels again coupled with the appropriate dish (98cm)
You could also point a dish at any of the receivable satellites in Cyprus and receive any of the free to air stuff on them.
It is also capable of taking a subscription or hobby card should you wish to use this facillity.

The second is a TM6800 HD: http://www.technomate.com/viewproduct2.php?product=82
This is capable of all of the above when connected to an appropriately sized and positioned dish but also has a High Def receiver enabling it to receive High Definition Channels.

Both boxes can be seen working. The 6800 is presently coupled to a motorised dish although this is not necessary.


These are what are sometimes referred to as, "hobby" boxes which can be used to receive all sorts of channels that you CANNOT get on iplayer.
This includes but is not limited to:
Movie channels.
Sports Channels.
Cartoon Channels.
News Channels.
Family entertainment Channels.
And for those of that predilection..... XXX Channels.
And many many more.
It is even possible to receive some of the UK free to air channels on a 98cm dish (some ITV regions) Perfect for the rugby world cup!
If these boxes do not sell locally they will be on ebay next week.


The RRP of the 5400 is £130 Sterling

The box is in perfect working order and recently had a new mainboard fitted by Technomate at a cost of £80.
I am looking for €75 ovno.


The RRP of the 6800 is £250 sterling.

Again this box is in perfect working order.
I will let it go for the bargain price of €150 ovno.

Reason for sale...... I have bought another HD receiver which I collect next month. I've got another SD receiver and I've simply got far too many.

I have a Topfield HD receiver and dish.
I receive several movie channels plus BBC world, Euronews and Aljazeera news and sport.

The HDMi cables are available at most tv dealers. I got mine from Public at MY Mall in Limassol. Before buying one check that both TV and PC have HDMi connectors. Your PC will need to be close to your TV as the length of cable is limited.

I brought a 10 mtr one from the UK..Got it through Amazon 12.00 sterling
