Not got one ourselves, but been in a taxi (the nices ones you have to phone and book) with one and it seem to work quite well.

Not sure how well they'll work when you try and programme an address in. I don't the actual address for most places, it's always the 3 turn after "X" Hotel or 2 turn after Carrefore.

I have Sat Nav on an O2 mini XDA phone which works well and gives you turn by turn voice directions.
Not too bad for address lookup but not as good as UK obviously. Program was free on internet as was map.
