Our computer screen is playing up but I need to test the VGA lead from the desktop to screen before thinking of replacing the screen. I've got all sorts of leads but not a VGA one. Have you got one lying around which we can replace our one with or use to test with. Steve |

Sorry I dont have one spare. As a thought, if you have a flat screen and an HDMI output on the computer, you know you can run it through the TV. Gerry |

Yes but as he said Mike, he doesnt have a lead. I just meant that if he has an HDMI lead he can do the same  Gerry |

Thanks for the advice. Have been lent a VGA lead. Tried it this morning and initially I thought it was working but within a few minutes the screen was flickering again. Now onto plan B. Steve |

Hi Gerry He does have a lead but wanted to test it ok  Gary have you got a flat screen tv? if so plug the pc into it and see if that starts to play up,or if you have a laptop plug that into your monitor Mike |
