Does anyone know where I can source some of this and the approximate price as I intend to hard wire some apartments through a common router. Also who stocks the wall switched needed to connect ezch apartment.

You can buy bulk packs of CAT5 cable and all the other bits and tools that you will need from Nicolau Electronics (near the Electricity Authority offices). I think I paid CY£35 for a 300 metre box.

Speak to one of the younger members of staff as the boss has had a charm by-pass

If you are doing yourself, you will need a terminating tool and guidance on how to terminate. Depending on your wiring network design you may need to consider a patch panel too.

I will try to get hold of them to see it they have a fitting service their as well, or get the relevant bits when I come out. I intended to use the existing router and then install a multi splitter to feed the relevant apartments. As not everyone will be on at the same time.

Whats a patch panel (apart from a black bit that goes round a dalmatians eye)
