Watched telly with headphones on last night. Head phones out, tv off. This morning i can`t get sound and sound slider indicatingthat h/phones are still plugged in !! Can someone help please ? |

with some devices there is a mechanical toggle switch for headphones. I suggest a very tiny spray of WD40 in the headphone socket (electrospray would be better - most folks don't have this at home ). Then plug the headphones in and out a few times. Worth a try before a call out. |

When you plug the headphones in the jack plug opens a contact. As you have no sound after pulling the jack plug out, the the contacts must be remaining open. This will give no sound from the TV and will say the headphones are still plugged in. It may need the part on the TV repairing. Hope this help's Paul |
