First check all the leads especially the scart leads. Has the dog/cat/kids knocked one loose? Is the TV set on AV1/satalite - It may be set to TV or PC/DVD Is the Nilesat box favourites on Sport/ News/ Etc - when all your favourites are saved under Movies. (press the favourites button several times to correct. ) Do you have Terrestrial TV on the same cable? I had this problem last year and it turned out to be a "powerpass" box, if you have one. If no Joy with the simple checks, there are lots of satellite people and Nilesat is not expensive to get fixed. It sounds like a cable / LBN problem to me so I would a guy in. |

OK The problem then is the dish or the cable to it. If the cable has been unprotected in the sun for several years it may have broken down. A neighbours did that after 3 years. Or you could have a spider in your LBN or you need a new LBN (or as said earlier the powerpass - if you have one has failed) Suggest you get in a professional. |
