I've got a selection of the cards for the shops over here, the ones that collect points.

I've never 'traded' any points in.

Has anyone done this?

If so what did you get and how do you go about trading them in :?:

Do points make good prizes :?:

i was wondering the same thing to be honest, read with Carrefore that you go to the customer service desk to trade in points but how? do you get the product you want first, take it to the desk and they take the points off the card?

Be interested to see how others have used their cards, as for Paps no idea at all or Superhome Center (or B&Q as i call it).

Good Q.

Thanks

Amanda

You take your card and the catalogue to the service desk. Point to the item you want and if they have it in stock, you can exchange it for the appropriate number of points on the card. The requisite number of points is there and then deducted from your card.

Papantoniou now only offers cash vouchers, but Carrefour still offers goods. Carrefour will also check around other branches and have them brought to the local store if the item you want is not available - if you ask nicely.

Warning: Don't lose your card, or someone else could cash in the points. Cypriots in general are quite trusting and do not always check thoroughly that the person presenting the card is the person who he/she purports to be. Most Cypriots would hand in the card if found, but don't rely on others to do so. :( Chances are, however, that if you leave the card at the check-out, it will be handed in to the service desk.

You normally present the card and they swipe it, strange you are getting points without one, the other way is using your phone number, this is of course you have applied for a card in the first place.

I have 6,000 Papantonia and will be checking the catalogue, others work the same way.

Molly dont bother with the Chloraka paps go to the one in town they have a desk as you go in the main door where you can look through the book. I have had quite a few things from the catalogue. if nothing suits then you can redeem the points for a voucher towards your shopping bill. Marj

Have they restored the catalogue? I have had goods in the past, but last time I wanted to redeem points they were only offering vouchers.

I redeemed points at Paps last month and got vouchers. Likewise Debs.

When I asked in Orphanides, it is still a catalogue but they didn't have one to show me and I didn't have enough points anyway.

Paps only redeem vouchers for shopping now - no catalogue - but very useful, nonetheless.

I just keep saving them until they are a decent amount then get some vouchers and have a "free" shop. Makes me feel like I got something for nothing, even if I have paid for it on the profits.
