We will go out for a walk with the dog but I am going to clean the stainless steel legs of my dining room chairs with some Tcut to get rid of the rust. Wow, thats what I call living life on the edge!!

You know when its a sunny day and you open your eyes to things that start to bug you. Well my chair legs are bugging me.

In the background I am listening to Jon Stewart being interviewed on Larry King. That guy has an amazing wit.

Hope you are all doing something nice!

Tiggy

Hi Helen

Well i was sitting out on the patio reading the Sunday Mail, it was boiling hot out there, had to come in to change, and saw the laptop sitting all on its own, so thought i had better pop in and see what's going on :D

Apart from that, just put some pork in the oven with sweet potatoes, green and red peppers, apple and mushrooms, we'll see how it turns out...... Off to work at 3.30 and then got a quiz tonight.

Carollynne

PS: Did you get the T-cut here in Cyprus?

Yes we got it from the homestore bit of Debenhams. So useful.
Andrew has just used it on the car as some kind b******d keyed our jeep outside the immigration office last week. Twice!
So I am going to make a sign that says 'This car is under surveillance' and sign it the Immigration Team. Obviously some some-soon-to-be deportee with a grudge!

Well we have just had some surprise visitors from PP. Never met them before and they managed to find us from the photo of our view - plus Phil was hanging off the pergola that he is putting a wood treatment on.

I have been having a lazy day, not expecting anyone, so I wasn't even dressed! That'll teach me. I am usually up and dressed, but thought I would relax after partying last night.

We had a cup of coffee and a nice chat and they were happy to see us and not bothered about what we looked like. Thankfully.

Must go and get myself sorted out now. Just in case we get any more surprises.

Well I've spent the day chucking things in suitcases and trying to get ready for my visit to Paphos in just over a weeks time!

I work long hours and Sunday is my only day off so need to try and get organised, of course its nothing to do with the fact that I can't wait to be there!

I did lots of stuff today(well yesterday as its gone midnight), most of which was too dull to mention - however, I bet I did something not many others did... I cleaned bat poop off the outside of the house. The house at the front of ours has carob trees and the bats love em but apparently their digestive system takes minutes and they deposit the remains all over the front of the house - nice :?

For anyone else in the same predicament - Ive been told never to clean it without wearing gloves as there's something unpleasant in the poop that can make you ill (like the fact that its poo isnt enough??) so do it with gloves on......... not just gloves as your neighbours may get a shock  , other clothing too...

I lead such an exciting life dont I?

 I was very good Marj as I'd already eaten.

Funny thing is that it doesnt bother me to clean it and I am THE worlds most squeamish person, just looks like someones gone a bit mad with a bottle of HP sauce.

I really need to find other things to do on a Sunday though.

Gary, we went to Laona taverna in Pano Pafos. I think the others enjoyed it, but I certainly did. The food is cooked well and is fresh and tasty. The owners are attentive and eager that you enjoy your meal and feel welcome.

It is only open between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. but is well worth a visit if you are in the old town and fancy a bite to eat. It is situated down an alleyway, and when it is warm enough to sit out it has a lovely continental feel to it during the week.

I thought I had put this on another post. Maybe you didn't read it - you should read EVERY word on PP - or maybe I only thought I posted it. :?:

Not upto much today.
Picked daughter up from the local Ranch, as she went there for a few hours to help out (and got a free ride in between!)
She also brought home an egg that the chuck had just laid, so has just had the freshest egg she has ever had  and it was very tasty she said! (cant be doing with the smell or taste of eggs, makes me sick  ).
Probably go out for a walk soon, as weather is nice and bright again.
Hope you are all enjoying your day :D

OK after reading all the posts on this subject I must be a SAD person -- I have just finished steam cleaning floors and polishing them up- they look like glass now. Having a coffee and looking at my Slimming World book for inspiration- got to look my best for whatever Party I could get invited to next. or even better incentive for our Hot Tub when it comes. Never mind when I get to be an IDOL h i d can do it all. Marj

Marj, you are on my list. Sorting something out for my 50th so you and Les had better keep the day free in your diary.
