Just got back from Hospital and have had the steel pin out from my toe and got rid of the Boot. I can at least wear sandals now if not proper shoes yet.
Tried the car and I can depress the clutch quite comfortably so I can drive again as well.
I can't go back to work yet though as my job entails wearing protective footwear for a lot of the time.
Haven't really been out of the house apart from hospital visits for the last 6 weeks so I am a happy chappie now that I can....
The only down side is that I don't have any excuses not to start the packing up now

Hi Tina,
Not sure of the move date yet but likely to be around the3rd or 4th week in April.
Buyer is keen to move quickly as she is living with her sister out of a suitcase at present with furniture in storage.

Got to persuade my employer not to hold me to 3 month notice.
Steph has been told she can go whenever without serving 3 months.

Good Luck with your Packing and the move. Its great having your freedom I remember when I had my knee joint fused and had quite a few weeks in a plaster cast then- crutches for quite a few weeks you get so frustrated having to rely on your other half so now your free - so to speak ----GET PACKING. Marj
