When is some enterprising business person going to open up a fab Indian Restaurant/takeaway in Peyia?

We've got everything close by except a fabulous indian takeaway - Tried Poppadom - too far & too pricy for a regular takeaway.

Pleeeeeeaaaaase someone do it!!!!

Bit of food for thought!

Well he should wear pink. If boxers can wear it Mr CF shouldn't balk at it.

It is fashionable for blokes to wear pink at the moment.

I have to be honest, i can turn my hand to most things, but a decent curry is something I've just never quite mastered.

Don't get me wrong, i can create something edible, it just doesn't turn our nearly as good as the proper restaurant/take-away ones! :(

Used to eat loads of curries back in the UK (at least 2-3 a week) so it is something I miss, so if any enterprising individual did open one round Peyia way they would have their first regualr patron straight away! :D

I found Poppadoms to be overpriced and quite mediocre. I have also been to the Shalimar on Akrotiri base, and that isn't a patch on the Indian's back in the UK.

I loved the Balti Houses in Sparkbrook.

Anything that is not Greek taverna over here seems to be overpriced given that the overheads are cheaper than in the UK, along with the wages.

Phil does a "bostin" curry. Can do GF, too, so I am lucky. :D

Very good, Neil. But I think that if you add the price of the air fare you might find it a little on the expensive side.

My first ever "proper" curry was at a back-street Balti House in Winson Green (one of my sisters lived there briefly) - area was dodgy to say the least, but the balti was absolutely cracking and I've been hooked ever since - think it's also one of the reasons I have such high standards now! :D
