Paphos People

Three men were hiking through a forest when they came upon a large raging,
Violent river. Needing to get to the other side, the first man prayed:
"God, please give me the strength to cross the river."

Poof! ... God gave him big arms and strong legs and he was able to swim
across in about 2 hours, having almost drowned twice.

After witnessing that, the second man prayed:
"God, please give me strength And the tools to cross the river"

Poof! .. God gave him a rowboat and strong arms and strong legs and he was
Able to row across in about an hour after almost capsizing once.

Seeing what happened to the first two men, the third man prayed:
"God, please give me the strength, the tools
And the intelligence to cross the river"

Poof! ... He was turned into a woman. She checked the map, hiked one
Hundred yards up stream and walked across the bridge.


"If at first you don't succeed, do it the way your wife told you!"

A woman just gave birth to a baby in hospital.

I remember once when my boys were a lot younger, I took them to KFC in Bridgend, Wales for our trip out one weekend & we decided to sit in the carpark & eat our food as the boys thought it was like a picnic

There was my car & 2 others only in a carpark of about 40 spaces when this women came in & decided to park up, she had the whole row of parking spaces so wasn't about to hit anyone else but I sat there, watching, laughing as she tried to reverse park between 2 white lines, back & forth, back & forth 7 times before she gave up & left the car parked at a 25 degree angle to the white lines

I just couldn't believe how difficult she found it to park between 2 white lines I'd hate to think what damage she would have done if trying to park between 2 cars instead of lines

Oh dear. They always roll out the woman driver myths, even though research shows women are better drivers than men.

Redgnome, you will always be welcome to any PP functions. Just watch your back as one of us women may "accidently" trip and the knife we were carelessly holding out in front of us may enter it. We are such clumsy creatures, as you know.

Mark - I have worked since I was 16. You are barking up the wrong tree if you think you are dealing with a girly girl here. I have never needed a man to support me, and God forbid I ever will.

I just think that your womenfolk are amazing. They have got away with getting new cars out of you, and getting you to foot the bill. Just by pretending to be the weaker sex.

I think the only reason that they say women are better drivers is because there are less of them at present, so the ratio of accidents per women compared to men is far less

What rubbish. Show me the figures and I will apologise if I am wrong!

You know that's not possible because its down to personal opinion who's the best

There are too many variables to consider when saying who the better drivers are, so you're not right or wrong, its just your opinion, same as mine

I meant the figures showing that there are more men drivers than women. You couldn't get those figures for Cyprus as half of the ones who are driving up in the hills may not be licenced to do so.

The insurance companies certainly favour women drivers.

Anyway. I've had my bit of fun. I do like to stir up the Venus and Mars debate sometimes.

Hmmm , forewarned is forearmed , makes note to purchase stab proof vest before next visit to Cyprus .
