We used to be able to draw out £200 cy per day from our Bank of Cyprus account. Now it is 200 Euros. When we queried it in the bank, with the lady that has replaced Costas, who was always very helpful, we were told, that is the new limit.

We sometime use our U.K. cards, so it depends on what card and banks you use Mandy.

I cant even remember now what our maximum daily is, I think its pretty high though.

They're great Mol, I just wish I didnt have to keep putting the bits of paper in there in the first place!

Off to go shove my plastic in there again - todays expense is the removal of my cats manly bits... thats if I can catch him! I swear that cat knows the vets opening times, he only appears at evenings and weekends.

funny you should ask.
We had clients here yesterday from Isreal,
they wanted to take goods back with them.
(950 euros) we dont take cards , so off he went to the
cash machine ,, laiki bank on the corner near the courts..
he had no trouble getting 2 lots of 500 euros from the same machine and that was with a forgien card ....

Mandy,

If you need more funds than you can get out of the hole in the wall, just call into the bank itself with your passport & if you have enough funds, you can draw up to cyp£2000 on a C/C :D :D

We bank with Alpha & have had no problems with what amount we want to draw out over the counter  :D
