Hi Guys. Wanted to point out that I have closed the list for the first Taverna Club in March. We have around 50 people wanting to come - which is amazing for a forum that has only been running for a couple of months.

I am going to speak with the Taverna owner. There is plenty of room at the Melania, but I want to make sure he is happy with such a large party. If he is happy to accommodate more I can re-open the list.

Sorry if anyone is going to be disappointed this month.

Sometime people drop out through no fault of their own, so I'm sure any disappointed people can always keep a look out for any spare spaces

Especially if anyone knows they cant make it and cancel well beforehand.

Girls, it's all to do with how you read the posts. Don't go into every forum, when you get onto the forum page, on the right hand side it says "view posts since last visit" - click on this, and it brings up everything that's been posted since the last time you were on the site! Easy peasy - I never miss a post, OK I just don't open the Sports Bar ones ( ), but I don't miss anything else - naturally nosy, that's me

Every so often, I just click on the green refresh arrows, and it marks everything I've read as read, and brings up any more new posts.

Try it girls, then you won't miss any important announcements, like nights out!

Wendy and Trish - if you are interested in coming I can let you know whether we can get you in. Phil and I may not be able to attend now that my hospital admission has been moved to 27th, so there would be two places. I am sure that two more for the OH's wouldn't be a problem.

Ah. Thats a bit of a problem then.
I deliberately didn't reply as I wasn't sure whether we would be coming out on the dates we had booked due to our buyer wanting to rush things up and possibly complete a lot earlier than we had anticipated. There is still a possibility that this may happen.
We are still hoping to be there and were hoping to come along to meet everyone and collect our quiz prize.

Hope it's good news from the taverna chappie - the more the merrier I reckon!

I have spoken with Matheos at Melania and it shouldn't be a problem to fit a few more in. So I am saying 4 for Wendywop, 1 for Trish, and if you can let me know how many you may be Severner, and confirm with me by 24th March that should be okay. As long as there aren't 20 of you.

I am posting the cost on the sticky so please have a look on there.

I am really surprised at how popular this first event is. We are planning one every month, you know folks.

I put a stop to this one at 50, but am letting it sneak up to 60 as Matheos said not to worry if there are 10 more or less. I am taking him at his word.
