OK, so how come no-one told me?? I've arranged meetings and everything for today, only to find out it's supposed to be a bank holiday?

And how come the missus is having to work - is this not a "proper" bank holiday or are they just taking advantage of her not asking for it off??

I need answers!! :tickedoff

:(

Hi.

You are not alone, I'm at work, hoping to get on with a lot today 'cause it should be quiet. Some of the shops are open, the big fruit shop (Russian...although Cypriot owned.) is open too.
Jean.....bought some Activia yogurt there yesterday.

I hate these holdays, I have always worked on them, it beats being at home with the kids although I have had about 5 frantic calls from them this morning looking for things. He's at his mams for coffee. Cypriots like their days' off!

Jill.

Haven't had any warning from school that next Tuesday is a bank holiday. Ours had last Friday off as it was western Good Friday, went to school y,day and had today off. Will they have another day off next week ? I don't mind too much as there is no need to get up at that unearthly hour but it would be nice to know :?:

Phil has next Tuesday off as a Bank Holiday, and he works for a Cypriot company. So I presume that the schools will be closed, too.

I am supposed to be working, but I am going to change my day so that I can be with Phil. Otherwise he won't do the jobs I want him to.
