Now I'm sure someone has asked the question about where you can get Activia yogurt (the stuff that's supposed to help your guts  ). Well, they had it in Carrefour on Saturday - I've only just remembered, so thought I'd better post it before I forgot again  I've tried a search, but can't find it

Rather than pay silly prices for tiny yoghurt drinks with made-up ingredient names, why don't you just eat natural live yoghurt of the type Cyprus does so well? It will save you lots of money and has the same benefits to the digestive system.

I find myself agreeing with Graham. Natural live yogurt is much cheaper and just as effective as the expensive stuff they fool you into buying.

If you are taken in by "Bifidous Digestivous" and other such made up rubbish you must have more money than sense. IMHO of course.

........and if you had a go at making your own yoghurt, you would save even more money - and it's even better for you, coz you know just what's in it.

Hi Marj,

No I don't make yoghurt in a flask, to be honest I haven't made any for a long time. What I used to do was simply heat a pint of milk, then add a spoonful of plain yoghurt, place in a pyrex bowl, cover with cling film, and place in the airing cupboard overnight.

I got the best tasting yoghurt using sterilised milk, (not sure if you can get it anymore).

I even used to make my own bread, and without the aid of a breadmaker!

Pam :D
