Over the last few weeks ...I have been ill

I went to see my GESY gp Dr Molly ...instant referral to GESY specialist Dr Soulias who is based in Iasis Hospital

3 hours later seen and fully diagnosed

Last Friday night my condition worsened ...I phoned my specialist Dr Soulias early on Saturday morning

He had me in the Iasis Hospital within the hour....covid tested ....blood tests and ultrasound scan completed

Within 2 hours admitted and on intravenous antibiotics and medicines

In hospital until yesterday

My care in the Iasis hospital by the nursing staff was excellent ....they where all professional, caring , attentive and very kind ....my room was private

Dr Soulias visited me often to make sure I was ok and responding to treatment

I came home yesterday evening

being told by Dr Soulias to contact him by phone at any time of day or night if my condition worsens again before my surgery in the Iasis in approximately 2 months time after all inflammation has settled ...to be readmitted for specialist care once again if needed...what an amazing, kind, caring, dedicated Dr he is.

All done on GESY ...it cost me 125 euros for all the tests to be completed...75 euros of that was my covid test to be admitted

Absolutely impressed

Full applause from me

:clap :clap :clap :clap

Sorry to hear of your illness and hope the op goes well.Yes I found that many Doctors are so very caring and kind, most especially when my husband had cancer.I remember that it was the assistant Director of Paphos Hospital who advised him of the original diagnosis and he told us that he always tried to think of how he would tell his own parents. When he was given the news by his oncologist who was Greek that his chemo had worked and his last CT scan was clear she hugged him with tears in her eyes!!
Take care and let us know how you get on
