Can you describe what you mean by a Pickup Truck ie size etc. There are a few van type vehicles for sale on waste ground opposite Pap's in Chloraka.

I am confident that Les is referring to what is otherwise known as a double cab and his preferred model is a Mitsubishi L200 as opposed to the commercial vehicles for sale opposite the supermarket in Chlorakas.

Sadly I cannot help with locating one, other than to suggest looking at Bazaraki or Autotrader Cyprus websites or to look on Facebook at items for sale, particularly those on the bases.

Personally I would avoid some of the car dealers favoured by the Brits on the grounds of cost. I have mentioned before one dealer just outside Paphos who was advertising a Pajero for over €5,000 around the time that OH bought an identical model privately for €900. Yes you take more of a risk buying privately, but double cabs are fairly robust things and, in our case, we could have bought five privately for the same price as one from a dealer, at least one of which was likely to be okay plus we would have had a ready supply of parts!

Good luck.
