PARKER’S NIGHT OFF

Lady Penelope Crichton – Ward had been to an evening reception at the Moldovian Embassy, in Regents Park. After an excellent evening the embassy car was returning her to the town house in Mayfair where she stayed when in London.
The limousine pulled up outside the house and the footman got out and opened the car door. Taking the proffered keys, he opened the front door to the house.

“Thank you” said her ladyship as she went in.

“Thank you M’lady” he said pocketing the five pound tip. “That’s cheaper than a taxi” he mumbled under his breath.

Taking off her coat, she poured herself a large brandy and headed up the stairs. As she went along the landing she noticed a thin shaft of light under the door to Parkers bedroom. He’d had a welcome night off because of the embassy insisting on transporting her to and from the party.
She stopped taking a big breath and large gulp of brandy she opened the door to his room and went in.
“Parker”
“Yes M’Lady” He looked her up and down, she was beautiful.
“Parker, Take off my tiara”
“Yes M’Lady” he carefully removed the tiara and placed it on the dressing table.
“Parker, Take off my earrings”
“Yes M’Lady” he carefully removed the earrings and put them on the dressing table next to the tiara.
“Parker, Take off my necklace”
“Yes M’Lady” he carefully removed the necklace and put it on the dressing table next to the other jewellery.
“Parker, Take off my dress”
“Yes M’Lady” He unzipped the sheer satin dress which showed every curve and dropped it to the floor.
“Parker, Take off my shoes”
“Yes M’Lady” taking the shoes and putting them under the dressing table.
“Parker, Take off my self - holding stockings.
“Yes M’Lady” He carefully rolled the stockings down each leg and removed them.
“He’s done that before” she thought.

“Parker, Undo my brassiere”
“Yes M’Lady” undoing the delicate catch, he removed the garment and dropped it to the floor.
“Parker, Take off my silk French knickers”
She had an involuntary intake of breath as the flimsy garment slipped down.
“Yes M’Lady” the knickers finished on the floor with the rest of the apparel.
“Parker, just one more thing”
“Yes M’Lady”
“If I ever catch you dressing in my clothes again – You’re Fired!”

“Yes M’Lady”
