ALL PART OF THE PLAN ?

The plan was to create a perfect environment, after extensive research the third rock from a very minor star was chosen for the experiment. The basics would be created and the survival of the fittest would eventually produce the ultimate balanced existence.
In the beginning creation was happening and the omnipotence was working flat out, it wanted to get everything right. Every plant, every insect, every animal had to have its own specific purpose but it was hard to match things up. Some animals had to be fierce and some had to be docile so that the fierce ones had something to eat! The great food chain had links between plant and animal life to maintain a balanced existence on the planet. It was the first experiment in varied life form ever attempted in the newly formed universe.
Every now and then a check was made to see if everything was gelling together all seemed fine until alarm bells started sounding. Something was not right, a mistake had been made and one creature was out of balance in its lifestyle.

1) It had an excessive load of aggression. Minus point.
2) It ate dead creatures, or it used a powerful sting with which it could immobilise its prey ready to be eaten. Minus point
3) Brightly coloured in yellow and black stripes warning that it was a killing machine! Plus point.
4) All very efficient to achieved its personal needs. Plus point


The species known as Wasp was thriving but it was unbalanced and didn’t give anything back into the system. In fact it was the skinhead of the insect world taking what it needed without any conscience. This caused an imbalance in the fabric and had to be redressed.

Looking again at the physical construction of the insect it could not be improved. It was physically fit but its mental attitude was in need of a makeover. So the following changes were made.

1) Its diet was changed to plant life, sucking nectar out of the flowers, while at the same time transferring pollen from flower to flower thus enabling the reproduction of plants. Plus point
2) Its habitat changed to a nest system where the community was sub-divided into a hierarchy every insect dedicated to preserving the life of the queen. Plus point.
3) Drones existed for the purpose of breeding with the queen and producing ongoing generations. Plus point.
4) Workers gathered in the pollen and nectar and constructed individual cells for the production of future insects. Plus point.
5) The nectar was converted into honey which nourished the young. Plus point.
6) It kept its sting but there was a drawback. If used the action of stinging would cause the perpetrator to die so as a means of defence it was the final last resort. Neutralising point.

Unfortunately the original Wasp genre was irreversible so it was left as it was, maybe as a necessary evil.
The new species proved to be a whole lot more eco friendly so it was left to flourish and called PLAN BEE.
