THE EARTH QUAKES
During the industrial revolution until the present day mankind progressed in knowledge and capability and they started on a downward spiral towards oblivion. Technology seems to going faster and faster, with 4G and 5G systems whatever that means. This apparently amongst a myriad of other things enables people to speak to each other on the other side of the ever shrinking world in the space of tenths of seconds. Why?
It all stemmed from marketing, advertising was the name of the game, the technical communication systems made it easier. Get your product well known all around the world and you had made it. The need to supply consumer products became super competitive so the makers of these products and commodities searched for methods to make more money. Lies and deception have long been used by manufacturers to generate sales of products by convincing users to part with their hard earned cash.
Makers have always looked for ways to increase sales of their products since time began. Some have asked the workforce to put forward suggestions with a financial reward for anything feasible. The ideas that ordinary people came up with were sometimes so patently obvious that the so called experts couldn’t see them.
A man who worked at the Moreland’s match factory in Gloucester had an idea to cut one of the production costs in half. He very wisely negotiated his reward before disclosing his idea. It was simply this ‘instead of putting sand paper on both sides of the box for striking the matches, only put it on one side. Then use the other side as saleable advertising space.’ A winner!
Toothpaste sales were increased overnight simply by increasing the diameter of the nozzle by ten per cent. People still squeezed all along the length of the bristles on the toothbrush without realising that ten per cent extra by volume was being used. That was another glaringly simple idea from a worker.
Did you know that all washing up liquids come from the same concentrated source, liquid soap solution. This is diluted in different degrees with water, colour is added and it is scented appropriately. You will never see a ‘Fairy Liquid’ or ‘Palmolive’ tanker, just a plain unmarked one delivers to the depot, and all different products with different labels and prices come out of it.
But by far the biggest lie of the lot is ‘sell by’ or ‘best before’ dates. A massive con dreamed up by manufacturers. They encourage customers to dispose of goods, which are perfectly safe and useable, themselves, under the guise of protecting the user from being poisoned. After disposing of the perfectly good product, they then buy some more of the same, no doubt scrapping it off again the following week when the use by date is up.
So as long as consumers have too much money to spend, suppliers will lie and cheat them out of it.
Control of the population can also be achieved by lies and con tricks. For instance do you remember TV detector vans in the nineteen sixties? They were very visible and toured the streets with a large dish on the top so say detecting TV sets in use without a licence. Two things dispel this theory, one you had to have a large aerial on your house roof to receive the signal anyway, and also the Post Office had a list of people who had a licence, so they just knocked on the door of people who were not on the list.
A detector van only had to drive around any large housing estate to send people flocking to the Post Office with the money in their hands.
BUT the most harmful of all of man’s inventions has got to be PLASTIC packaging.
Perishable products are wrapped or contained in plastic packaging to protect them for a couple of days, then the plastic is thrown into landfill and lasts FOREVER!! What on earth was wrong with paper bags and common sense to use perishable goods immediately to avoid the wastage?
When the world is totally polluted, if it isn’t already, man will half heartedly attempt to turn things around or is it too late! The human race has destroyed this planet in the space of just five hundred years, less than a heartbeat after billions of years since the big bang or whatever you believe.
All of the above examples were in the name of progress, computers and things are going faster and faster until finally there will be another big bang and the planet we inherited will all be wasted and lost forever!
But planet Earth will still be here as it has always been, in our understanding anyway. Just give it about a million years to rid itself of mankind, like it did with dinosaurs and that’s not long in the grand scale of things. Whose turn next? My money is on the insect nation, colonies of ants are already disciplined and organised, as are bees. They only need the freedom to expand without interference from other species such as mankind. How long will they last? Until greed and jealousy appears in their makeup, then off it all goes again scary stuff indeed.

No wonder the earth quakes!
