nooooo. Remember going to work in the pitch black, scraping the ice from your windscreen and hoping you'll get off the drive without hitting next doors new car! Remember finishing work in the dark and then scraping the ice from your windshield hoping you'll get out the crammed car park without hitting the directors car!

Remember peeps, remember - this is a lovely day compared to a UK winter!!!!

I remember going to work in the dark but since I went by public transport didn't have to scrap ice of. Always left work before it got dark - that was the beauty of flexitime.

Only remember some days it taking three hours to get to work - a mere 8 miles.

Definitely cold in my office today (boss insists on door open regardless of weather). Don't mind though, I remember the 3 hour commute, iced up car windows, trains breaking down, buses that never appeared...... oh how I miss them all (NOT!!!!)

Even on days like today, I still love being in Cyprus, as I don't have to go to a crappy office & answer to some numbnut who know nowt about what he's suppose to be doing

Didn't mind the drive to & from work, as it gave me time to vent my pent up anger which I got everyday from the above mentioned people and idiot drivers who shouldn't be on the road before I got home, it didn't always work though

At least here, even when its winter, you know its still gonna shine in a few hours time to brighten up the rest of your day, still got those idiot drivers on the road & that trip home to vent the anger tho

Yep, me as well, much rather be here in Cyprus, bad back or good back, than facing all those horrible students every day.

You will be glad to know that the baby didn't show up in the middle of coffee, Neil.

We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our first baby to be born to a PaphosPeople member. We have told Mum-to-Be that we will have to announce it when it is born.

She was telling me about her experience of pregnancy in Cyprus using the Cypriot system, both private and the General Hospital. If we get any other members who embark upon a pregnancy out here she will be a mine of useful information. It made fascinating listening. But then maybe it was fascinating to me because of my trade.
