Well from what I know, most taverna's seat between 30-50 people inside, so if we have more than that coming on a regular basis, we might have to have more than one Taverna Club meeting a month

Not a problem in the summer months though as they will have outdoor seating too

I don't think we need to get carried away just yet. I can't see every member either being in Cyprus or wanting to go to the taverna club.

Wait until we have a few thousand members before you start getting concerned.

Great that the membership is growing though. Good to see you on here Kipz. It's a small world and an even smaller island.

Just a thought on the taverna night. has anyone ever tried Angelica's just opposite St Georges?

We went there a couple of times and always great service and food.

I'm thinking they have a huge outside area that is mostly covered! might be an option!

I did mention to Verity a few weeks ago about Pericles Taverna in Nata. I'm sure anyone who has been there will endorse it. Shall I just say that they have held weddings there with 2,000 attendees, so I'm sure they would be well able to accommodate any PP function Lloyd

PS: In fact we had my surprise 60th birthday party there last year, there were around 35 in attendance...and we didn't fill 5% of the available area. Yet the welcome from Pericles and his wife was as warm and effusive as ever, and the food as fresh and imaginative as possible.

Yakflyer yes a very good place to eat handy for those that live in the area. I think something more central would suit most members. other half -Tail
