What are all the decorations up in town in aid of?

Is it in preparation for Green Monday?

Don't remember seeing them before for Green Monday - maybe they are being prepared and getting ready for Easter, especially since for the tourists. They certainly started early with the Christmas decorations last year. :D

You wouldn't be far wrong there Neil, they are still up in a lot of places.

I guess saves taking them down and putting them up again. :lol:

They are for carnival which this year is going along Makarios Avenue from the Debenhams roundabout - have you seen the state of those "clowns" on the roundabout - it's enough to give ME nightmares, never mind a child!!!

Yes, I guess they do look like something that would be in a carnival. I agree with you Jean, a bit scary looking and that's putting it mildly!

It must be the carnival. None of them are Easter decorations. The Easter ones are eggs, bunnies and teddies.
